Mrs Fanuel Orono, as netizens refer to her, became an internet sensation when she sold bananas to Langata Member of Parliament Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o.

In the clip, she told the politician to send the payment to her husband’s number, who was at home at the time with the phone.

Many questioned who Fanuel is and wanted to know what he had done to earn his wife’s trust to the point that all her business money was going to him.
A TikToker using the handle @maryatienogwara visited their home and shared clips of the lovely couple.
“I am the Fanuel Otieno Orono,” he said.
Dressed in a beige faded t-shirt and slightly tattered shorts, Fanuel also narrated experiences that have made him languish in poverty.
His wife tried to explain that he works as a watchman in a nearby technical college and has not been paid for the last 10 months.
The TikToker also showed off their home, which looked dilapidated both inside and outside.

Mrs Fanuel claimed that it had no charge, so she left it at home before confirming that she gave it to her husband.
