Every single Fortnite-original gun is being vaulted in favor of a loot pool made up entirely of Star Wars guns this season, most of which are entirely new here. These weapons will be different from normal Fortnite guns, because blasters don’t use ammo–instead, they overheat when fired quickly. On day one, the pool of weapons will look like this:
DL-44 Blaster Pistol
Heavy CR-2 Blaster (SMG)
ACP Scatter Blaster and BARM-ST12 Scatter Blaster (shotguns)
Close-to-medium range DLT-19 Blaster Rifle
Long-range IQA-11 Marksman Blaster Rifle
All-purpose A280-CFE Blaster Rifle
(unvaulted) Highly accurate DC-15 Heavy Blaster Rifle
(unvaulted) Empire standard Issue E-11 Blaster
(unvaulted) First Order standard issue F-11 Blaster
There’s also one weapon that isn’t a gun: the explosive Thermal Imploder grenade.
But that’s not even close to the full list of new Star Wars guns we’ll be playing with this season, as each week will add new stuff. On May 15, Chewbacca will arrive on the island to unvault the Wookiee Bowcaster and introduce the CA-87 Jawa Scatter Blaster shotgun.
A week later on May 22, Mandalorians will arrive and unvault the Mandalorian Jetpack item, which was significantly less hellish to deal with than the War Machine one we had last year. They’ve also got some guns to toss into the loot pool: the Amban Sniper Rifle and Jango Fett’s dual WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols.
And let’s not forget the starfighters. There will be flyable TIE Fighters and X-Wings available in battle royale throughout the season.
