The Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 4 is set to launch in May 2025. To generate hype among gamers, the company has been slowly revealing the main highlights of the gaming tablet. The latest round of teasers has confirmed multiple core specs.

Lenovo is set to launch the successor to the Legion Tab Gen 3, which launched as a compact gaming tablet with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in late 2024. As the company has previously confirmed, the new device will launch in May 2025, and it will retain the same form factor but will see many upgrades under the hood.

The company has now confirmed more core specs of the gaming tablet. As previously teased, Lenovo reiterated that the Legion Tab Gen 4 will sport the Snapdragon 8 Elite, but there’s no confirmation on whether it’s the 7-core or 8-core variant of the SoC.

With one of the recent teasers, Lenovo has also highlighted the large vapor chamber cooling setup of the new gaming tablet. Per the teaser, the Legion Tab Gen 4 will pack a 12,000 mm2 copper cooler to offer better heat dissipation during extreme loads.

Another feature that was confirmed through this new teaser is the battery capacity. While the predecessor features a 6,550 mAh battery, the upcoming Lenovo gaming tablet bumps it up to 7,600 mAh. This higher capacity, paired with the more efficient Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, should result in longer runtimes than the Tab Gen 3.

This battery of the Legion Tab Gen 4 has support for 68 W fast charging (100 W Anker Prime charger curr. $49.99 on Amazon), and Lenovo previously confirmed that there’s support for bypass charging as well. Among the other confirmed features from the teaser are up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, a light body weighing around 340 grams, and a dual X-axis linear motor.
