Mukbang star Tzuyang undergoes her first-ever health checkup, surprising doctors with her unusually large stomach capacity despite an underweight BMI.

On April 28, Youtuber Tzuyang shared a video titled “Tzuyang’s Garden” on her YouTube channel, documenting her experience going through a full medical examination.

Appearing after 38 hours of fasting, Tzuyang remarked, “I’ve never gone without food for this long. It felt like I was going to die. I think I went to the bathroom a hundred times,” showing signs of extreme discomfort before the examination.

The final procedure was a gastroscopy. Determined to stay awake for at least three seconds after being given the anesthetic injection, Tzuyang humorously fell asleep after just two seconds.

Upon examining her stomach, the specialist expressed genuine amazement. “The average Body Mass Index (BMI) for women is around 20–22, but Tzuyang’s is 17.5, which classifies as underweight. However, her stomach is actually larger than that of the average adult male,” the doctor explained.

“This allows her to consume such large quantities of food. Her stomach volume is approximately 30–40% larger than normal, and her digestion, absorption, and elimination functions are likely above average,” he added.

Moreover, despite consuming large amounts of food during her mukbang broadcasts, her blood sugar levels and hemoglobin A1c (a marker for diabetes) were perfectly normal.

The doctor also reported that her colon and kidneys showed no abnormalities, confirming that Tzuyang is in excellent overall health.

Tzuyang is one of South Korea’s most popular mukbang YouTubers, boasting over 1.18 million subscribers.

Her ability to consume massive quantities of food while maintaining good health continues to astonish both her fans and medical experts alike.
